President of Turkmenistan Pardons Convicts in Honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a decree pardoning convicted individuals on the occasion of the "Year 2025 – International Year of Peace and Trust," releasing 247 pardoned citizens from further serving sentences of imprisonment.

The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces made this decision to further strengthen the unity and cohesion of Turkmen society and every family. The document emphasizes that the head of state was guided by the principles of mercy and humanism bequeathed by the great ancestors.
