At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on Friday, July 26, Deputy Prime Minister Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on preparations for the new academic year 2025/2026.
On August 23, a meeting of leading education workers will be held. During the event, it is planned to summarize the results of the completed academic year, discuss the implementation of the tasks set by the head of state, and also outline priority goals and new guidelines.
Particular attention will be paid to improving the education system, preparing the regulatory and methodological framework, improving the qualifications of teaching staff, and developing mentoring traditions.
One of the key areas of discussion will be fostering a sense of national pride and patriotism in the younger generation. This work will be carried out on the basis of studying the books of the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty and the President of Turkmenistan, with an emphasis on the participation of schoolchildren in competitions, olympiads, scientific projects and career guidance.
Having approved the presented initiatives, the head of state instructed to conduct preparations for the upcoming forum of teachers at a high level, emphasizing the importance of a systematic approach to solving urgent problems in the field of education.
