The President of Uzbekistan sent a letter of gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people

The head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a letter of gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

"First of all, I sincerely congratulate you once again on the successful organization of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in the unique Avaza National Tourist Zone in the city of Turkmenbashi.

During our visit to your beautiful country, I personally witnessed the great transformations carried out as a result of your creative work, as well as large-scale reforms aimed at further enhancing the authority and prestige of your state in the international arena.

The International Conference held is of great importance in attracting the attention of the world community to the search for effective solutions to the vital problems of developing countries, especially the Central Asian states.

I would like to note with particular satisfaction the adoption of the Avaza Political Declaration as part of the event, as well as the approval of the Ten-Year Action Program.

I am confident that the open and fruitful bilateral negotiations that took place will serve to dynamically advance trade, economic, investment, transport, logistics, and cultural and humanitarian ties between our friendly states.

The separate event held at your initiative to prepare for the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Uzbekistan will make a worthy contribution to enriching the agenda of our upcoming Summit and organizing it at a high level.

Our dialogue in the format of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, as well as our trilateral meetings with the participation of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, will undoubtedly become an important step towards further expanding regional cooperation and implementing joint projects and programs,” the head of state noted.

"I express special gratitude for the fact that during our stay, by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, the respected Serdar Gurbangulyevich Berdimuhamedov, I was awarded the "Hyzmatdaşlygy ösdürmäge goşandy üçin" order, which I perceive first of all as the highest assessment of the Uzbek people, our joint aspirations for the benefit of close friendship between the two fraternal peoples.

I am confident that we will consistently continue our open and fruitful dialogue in the spirit of boundless respect and sincere friendship.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you, Your Excellency, and all members of your family good health, happiness and prosperity, great success in your noble activities for the prosperity of the people, and peace and continuous progress to the fraternal people of Turkmenistan," the President of Uzbekistan wrote.
