Professional improvement trainings were conducted within the framework of the DARYA project

As part of the ongoing work to develop vocational education system of Turkmenistanin line with international standards, representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan participated in the international summer school "DARYA summer school on Excellence in Teaching and Learning", which was held in Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan, from August 5-8, 2025.

This summer school is one of the most important regional events for improving vocational education in Central Asia, and the main focus during it was on the concept of "School of Vocational Perfection". Strategic approaches to this area were demonstrated through SCAFFOLD and ISATCOVE, the main tools used within the DARYA projects. The summer school was divided into 3 main thematic areas, and each participant worked on one of these areas.

1. To prepare a project policy that supports vocational training centers;

2. To improve the professional skills of teachers;

 3. Innovative pedagogical methods and SCAFFOLD.

The trainings were combined with interactive sessions, group work and experience sharing, and the development of country-specific roadmaps. The potential for qualitative development in the education system has been widely explored through tools such as the SCAFFOLD teaching methodology and ISATCOVE professional improvement.
