A meeting with a delegation from the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China was held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University

Under the wise leadership of our esteemed President, our developing country is creating modern opportunities for a bright future for its youth. The large-scale reforms carried out in the education system and the successes achieved inspire happy youth to great achievements and studies. This clearly reflects the concern for improving the material and social well-being of our people and the wonderful opportunities created for happy youth.

The oil and gas industry, which is one of the main areas of the economy of Turkmenistan, has reached a high level of development based on international cooperation. The presence of various types and reserves of minerals in the country gives a powerful impetus to the development of the chemical, gas chemical, oil and gas industries and other industries. As a result, fuel and energy, industrial and production complexes are systematically built in the country, and large-scale programs are successfully implemented.

In 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University and the China University of Petroleum (Beijing), providing for the joint organization of Chinese language teaching at the university and work to improve the qualifications of teachers.

Recently, at a meeting held at the university with a delegation from the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, issues of developing and expanding cooperation in the field of studying the Chinese language were discussed. The delegation of the International Center presented its work in this area on exchanging experience, using and developing innovative teaching methods, as well as widely using advanced educational technologies. The Center offered cooperation in providing methodological assistance in studying the Chinese language, organizing various types of training, and improving the level of professional skills of teachers. Then the delegation of the Center visited the Oil and Gas Faculty of the university and got acquainted with the work of the Department of Languages.
