Turkmenistan celebrated the Caspian Sea Day

On August 12, the National Tourist Zone "Avaza" celebrated the annual Caspian Sea Day.

On the eve of the festive events, sports competitions in various sports were held at the Khasyl Recreation and Health Center of the National Tourist Zone "Avaza".

The central event of the holiday was the scientific and practical conference "The Caspian Sea - the Sea of Friendship and Peace", held at the Berkarar Hotel in Avaza.

The conference was preceded by a thematic exhibition in the lobby of the hotel complex dedicated to the beauty of the Caspian Sea nature and demonstrating the achievements of our country in the field of environmental protection.

The opening of the conference was marked by a welcoming message from the esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed to the participants of the event.

In their speeches, the participants emphasized the role of the Caspian in strengthening friendly relations. It is known that the main priority of the coastal states is to create favorable conditions for the development of mutually beneficial economic cooperation, improve the investment climate, ensure reliable and safe communications, and attract high-yield and environmentally friendly technologies. In this regard, the Caspian Sea is a significant component of many international projects aimed at improving the well-being of the peoples of the region.

The program of the Caspian Sea Day also included cultural events - familiarization tours of the Avaza National Tourist Zone were organized for guests.

Thus, the celebrations in honor of the Caspian Sea have become another stage in strengthening the partnership in the name of preserving this unique natural "pearl" of our planet.
