A NEW TEXTBOOK FOR THE 12TH GRADE OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS HAS BEEN PUBLISHED.

Modernization of the national education system, improvement of the work of educational institutions and the development of digitalization in accordance with international standards are one of the priorities of state policy. Given the importance of the knowledge economy, continuous and comprehensive work is underway to develop the educational services market and economic culture. Economic knowledge plays an important role, allowing Turkmen youth in the 21st century to make a significant contribution to the development of the digital economy, increase competitiveness, and improve economic knowledge so that they can make optimal management decisions in various market situations.

The textbook "Fundamentals of Economics" was recently published (author:                    Ch. Shalliev – A.: Turkmen State Publishing Service, 2025) for the 12th grade of secondary schools. The textbook contains valuable information about the relationships between people and their behavior in the process of production, distribution, exchange and consumption of both tangible and intangible goods. The materials presented in it will have a significant impact on the development of economic knowledge, entrepreneurial skills and increasing the economic potential of the younger generation in our country.

The textbook Fundamentals of Economics contains statistical data, tables, graphs and illustrations that reflect the development of economic culture in modern conditions. There are questions for self-control at the end of the chapters. Special attention is paid to the English-language equivalents of economic terms.

This textbook will make a significant contribution to the development of the national economy of our Motherland, which is moving towards a bright future, the heights of progress and prosperity under the leadership of respected President Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
