The Malaysian Embassy in Ashgabat, together with Future Ed Services and supported by Education Malaysia, held an information briefing for Turkmen students and their parents on August 13 at the Ish Nokady co-working center, the press service of the Malaysian diplomatic mission in Ashgabat reported to Turkmenportal.

According to the embassy, 350 applications for student visas were approved in the first half of 2025, which will allow Turkmen students to begin their studies at Malaysian educational institutions.

The event aimed to introduce prospective students to the history, culture, traditions and practical aspects of life in Malaysia. Participants received information on adapting to a new learning environment and the specifics of studying abroad.

Malaysian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Mohd Suhaimi bin Ahmad Tajuddin congratulated the students on their successful admission to Malaysian educational institutions. He noted Malaysia's reputation as an educational hub with high-quality and affordable educational programs.
