A solemn award ceremony for the winners of the young artists' competition dedicated to traditional children's games took place in the city of Aktau, which has the status of the "Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2025". In the creative competition, which united talents from different countries, young artists from Turkmenistan showed good results, winning the main prizes.
More than 40 young talents, selected from 2,000 participants from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey, presented their works to the jury and art lovers.
The Grand Prix of the competition - the main award - was won by representative of Turkmenistan Bibinamat Ashirova. In addition, two more young Turkmen artists were among the winners: Aysel Semenderova received the second prize, and Vepa Geldymuhammedov - the third.
The award ceremony was attended by TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Rayev, who emphasized the importance of such projects for cultural exchange and strengthening ties between peoples. "Unification of our youth through art strengthens cultural ties in the Turkic world," he noted in his speech.
The winners were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts from TURKSOY and the leadership of the city of Aktau. This creative project became another vivid testimony to the richness of the cultural heritage of the Turkic countries.
