Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan discussed cooperation in the field of healthcare

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Shadurdy Meredov held a meeting with the Minister of Health of the country Asilbek Khudayarov on August 22.

The parties discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular, in the field of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical education and exchange of experience between the countries.

The ambassador emphasized that within the framework of the implementation of the State Program "Saglyk" in the city of Arkadag, the creation of a large medical cluster is successfully continuing, which is aimed at conducting scientific work in the field of drug development, as well as the production of various medical products.

In addition, the Turkmen side acquainted with the activities of the enterprise "Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment" and presented various types of daily demanded medical products that meet international quality standards, produced by the enterprise.
