The President of Armenia visited the historical monument of the Turkmen emirs Garagoyunly

The President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the 15th century mausoleum located in the village of Argavand in the Ararat region, where the mausoleum of the Turkmen emirs Garagoyunly is located.
The event was attended by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, employees of the Office of the President of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia Muhammetgeldy Ayazov and employees of the Embassy.
The President of Armenia got acquainted with the historical values of the mausoleum, and was also informed about the stages and features of the restoration work carried out at this place.
In turn, Ambassador Ayazov noted that cultural and humanitarian cooperation is one of the important areas of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Armenia.
