A new textbook for teachers of general secondary schools in our country titled "Fundamentals of Physics. II. Electrical and Magnetic Phenomena" (authors: A.Gurbanmuhammedow, J.Awliýakuliýew, A.Çaryýew – A.: Turkmen State Publishing Service, 2025) has been published recently.
This teaching manual is a continuation of the first book published under the title "Fundamentals of Physics I. Mechanics. Molecular Physics and Thermodynamics" and corresponds to the physics curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan for secondary schools. It encompasses the "Electrical and Magnetic Phenomena" section of physics.
The questions addressed in the manual are of a slightly higher complexity than the level envisioned by the physics curriculum of general secondary schools. An attempt has been made to provide a scientifically based explanation for them and to indicate the applications of physical phenomena in everyday life. In this manual, to demonstrate and explain physical processes and to derive expressions for laws, concepts such as the derivative of a function, differential, definite and indefinite integrals were used as necessary. The examples provided at the end of each chapter offer problems of varying complexity for independent solving, and the solution for some of them is shown at the end of the manual. The manual can serve as a reliable guide for teachers and students of general secondary schools specializing in physics and mathematics, as well as for those wishing to independently enhance their knowledge of physics.
This teaching manual will make a significant contribution to the growth of the national economy of our beloved Homeland, which, under the leadership of our esteemed President, our Hero Serdar, is advancing towards a happy future and the heights of development and prosperity.
