The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the Additional Secretary of the MFA of Pakistan for West Asia and Afghanistan

On August 25, a meeting was held in Ashgabat between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan for West Asia and Afghanistan Syed Ali Asad Gillani.
The parties discussed cooperation between Turkmenistan and Pakistan in areas of mutual interest, noting the fruitful nature of the partnership within the framework of international and regional structures.
The diplomats emphasized that trade and economic cooperation occupies a special place on the agenda of Turkmen-Pakistani relations.
The interlocutors noted the importance of an active dialogue between the foreign ministries of the two countries, expressing interest in promoting cultural and humanitarian ties.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working to promote transport and energy connectivity between Turkmenistan and Pakistan, as well as countries in the region.
