International Conference on the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Education to Be Held in Ashgabat

On August 29, Ashgabat will host the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Potential of Artificial Intelligence in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goal in Education.”
The conference is organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE). The main goal of the event is to discuss the integration of artificial intelligence into national and international educational platforms, as well as to exchange advanced experience in this field.
The program of the conference includes presentations by UNESCO representatives, international experts, officials of the Ministry of Education, and Turkmen scholars and educators.
Participants will discuss issues of digitalization of education, the development of digital and media literacy, the ethical aspects of using artificial intelligence, and innovative educational technologies.
The conference will provide a platform for sharing knowledge on the introduction of AI technologies into the educational process and for developing joint strategies for advancing education in the context of digital transformation. Special attention will be given to the use of artificial intelligence for personalized learning, the development of critical thinking, and the adaptation of educational programs to modern requirements.
Participants will be able to learn about the best international practices, discuss existing challenges and prospects, as well as establish partnerships for the implementation of joint projects in the future.
With the support of UNESCO, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan is implementing a comprehensive strategy for the digitalization of education, which includes the development of technological infrastructure, capacity building of teaching staff, the introduction of intelligent learning systems, and the creation of national standards for digital competence.
