A new textbook “MODELING AND GRAPHICS”
for grade XI has been published

In Turkmenistan, following the adoption of the concept of 12-year education, the tasks of the Concept for the Development of the Digital Education System in Turkmenistan are also being implemented. The transition to a 12-year education system envisages the introduction of new modern subjects. One of these subjects in general education schools is “Modeling and Graphics.”

An updated program for this subject was developed for grades XI–XII in general education schools with a focus on the exact sciences. In this regard, it became necessary to prepare a new edition of the “Modeling and Graphics” textbook.

Recently, a new textbook “Modeling and Graphics” for 11th grade students of general education schools with Russian as the language of instruction was published (authors: G. Madamanova, O. Babakuliyeva – Ashgabat: Turkmen State Publishing Service, 2025).

The “Modeling and Graphics” textbook for grade XI consists of the following sections: “Models and Their Classification,” “Modeling,” “Modeling in the Graphic Environment,” and “Design.”The content of this textbook sets specific goals: to form concepts of models and modeling among high school students, to show the possibilities of models in understanding the environment, to explain the interdependence between natural and life phenomena and models, to master the knowledge of building models of simple objects and processes using signs, and to instill research skills when working with models and explaining the results obtained.

The textbook also defines relevant tasks and examines the basic concepts and functions of modeling. To consolidate the learned material and develop practical skills, the textbook contains knowledge-check questions and necessary independent work. This will allow students to directly apply the knowledge they have gained in practice.
