Article by the President of Turkmenistan published in the Chinese newspaper Renmin Ribao

On the eve of the working visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the People's Republic of China, an article by the head of Turkmenistan entitled "Turkmenistan - China: on the path of strengthening friendship and cooperation" was published in the central newspaper Renmin Ribao, one of the most popular publications in this country, as well as in other major Chinese publications and news sites. This article aroused keen interest in the international media.
The article by the President of Turkmenistan notes that in September 2013, a historic event occurred that determined the essence and direction of long-term future relations between the two countries: the signing in Ashgabat of the Joint Declaration on the Establishment of Strategic Partnership between Turkmenistan and China.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan and China are currently true friends, reliable partners and like-minded people in solving extremely important issues for the development of their states and all of humanity, and expressed firm confidence that they will jointly fulfill all the tasks facing the two countries.
