Turkmenistan and Italy spoke in favor of expanding bilateral cooperation

On September 3, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Italy Toyli Komekov met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Edmondo Cirielli in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic.

During the meeting, further steps were discussed to strengthen bilateral cooperation within the framework of international organizations and deepen relations in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, scientific and cultural spheres, in particular, holding various events with the participation of heads of relevant departments and organizing cultural events.

Particular attention was paid to the organization of an exhibition of unique artifacts discovered on the territory of ancient Margiana and Nisa in the Capitoline Museum of Rome, including valuable finds made by joint Turkmen-Italian archaeological expeditions.

In addition, the parties discussed the organization of the visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Italy this year.

At the end of the meeting, the diplomats exchanged best wishes for peace and prosperity for the peoples of Turkmenistan and Italy, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening the partnership between the two countries
