Turkmenistan took part in the III Asian Culture Festival in Romania

The III Asian Culture Festival was held in Bucharest, organized by diplomatic missions of a number of Asian countries, including Turkmenistan, with the assistance of the Dimitrie Gusti National Village Museum.

The stand of the Embassy of Turkmenistan presented national costumes, carpets, embroideries, musical instruments, as well as modern designer interpretations of traditional clothing, which aroused particular interest among the guests.

Particular attention was paid to the literary heritage: the guests got acquainted with the works of the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, as well as with the works of the great poet Magtymguly Pyragy translated into various languages, including Romanian.

The museum guests were also interested in the collection of Turkmen costumes, harmoniously combining centuries-old traditions and modern fashion trends.

The festival ended with the exhibition “Cuisine of Asian Countries”, where visitors could try national dishes of all participating countries.
