Turkmenistan presented a medical cluster being implemented in Arkadag in Uzbekistan

On September 10, a meeting was held in Tashkent between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan Shadurdy Meredov and the Minister of Health of the country Asilbek Khudayarov with the participation of the Turkmen delegation.

The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical education and exchange of experience between the countries.

During the meeting, the Turkmen side informed about the implementation of a large medical cluster in the city of Arkadag, which is aimed at conducting scientific work in the field of drug development, as well as the production of various medical products.

Also, as part of the visit of the Turkmen delegation to Uzbekistan, a presentation of the medical cluster of Turkmenistan was held in the building of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov. The event was attended by heads and representatives of medical centers of Uzbekistan, as well as Uzbek entrepreneurs.
