KNOWLEDGE — THE SOURCE OF HAPPINESS

In the new era of the Revival of the powerful state, under the leadership of our Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, tremendous transformations are being carried out across all systems, including the education system. In this regard, special attention is paid to the development of the library system, which is an integral part of education and contributes to the spiritual enrichment of the nation.

Furthermore, in January 2025, declared the "International Year of Peace and Trust," the "State Program for the Development of the Library System in Turkmenistan for 2025–2029" was approved by a Decree of our Honorable President. The adoption of this program received widespread support among the people and once again emphasized the special place of the book as a bright beacon of the spiritual world of the Turkmen people in our country.

As a vivid example of such work, exemplary activities to organize library operations are being conducted at Secondary School No. 21 in Mary city. The school librarian, Tylla Annaberdiyeva, makes significant efforts to foster a love for books among the young generation—the future of our country. This is evidenced by the reader conferences, artistic reading competitions, and thematic book exhibitions held at the school.

Thus, on September 1, 2025, on the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, the book exhibition organized by T. Annaberdiyeva at the main entrance of the school further enhanced the festive atmosphere. The exhibition featured books born from the genius of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero Arkadag, and our Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as children's literature and new textbooks. The exhibition was viewed with great interest by teachers, students, and guests of the celebration. This event clearly demonstrates the immense importance of books as torches of the world of knowledge in human life and highlights the key role of libraries in increasing the interest of young generations in reading.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to our Honorable President, the Arkadagly Hero Serdar, and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, who stand guard over all opportunities created for nurturing the growing young generation.
