The XXVI Conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World was held in Ashgabat

The XXVI Conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World was held at the Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan on September 13. Representatives of the Turkmen diasporas from a number of foreign countries and delegates from all regions of the country took part in the forum, held on the eve of a significant holiday – Independence Day of the country.

Before the start of the meeting, its participants got acquainted with the exhibition of fine and decorative arts organized at the Center for Public Organizations, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the people, their past and the diversity of their original traditions.

Then, with great attention, the participants listened to the welcoming address of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the conference participants, which emphasized the importance and status of the event.

"Thanks to the exemplary activity of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, President of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World Hero Arkadag, colossal work has been done to strengthen the foundations of our independence and permanent neutrality, our dear Fatherland has been recognized as one of the confidently developing states in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres and has become a country of peace, friendship and happiness," the Address of the President of Turkmenistan emphasizes.

Then the agenda of the meeting was unanimously approved, during which reports on the work done were heard and priority areas for further activities of the HATW were discussed.

The important issues considered at the next conference are intended to further enhance the significance of the activities of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World, the development of constructive interstate relations.

Then the ceremony of awarding members of the Association with honorary certificates took place.
