Turkmenistan hosts regular meeting of the Working Group on Caspian Sea issues

The eleventh meeting of the High Level Working Group (HLWG) on Caspian Sea issues began its work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on September 15. Delegations from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Russia took part in the event.
The parties discussed methods for establishing direct baselines in the Caspian Sea. The meeting also reviewed cooperation in the Caspian Sea and considered issues of preparing for the next meeting of foreign ministers.
In addition, the participants considered issues of creating a working group of Caspian states on the shallowing of the Caspian Sea.
