New Bahraini Ambassador Accredited in Turkmenistan

On September 15, on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Speaker of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Turkmenistan, Bassam Ahmed Ali Marzouk.
On behalf of the head of state, the Speaker of the National Parliament congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to this important post and wished him success in strengthening friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the diplomat was briefed in detail on the activities of the Mejlis and the ongoing work to improve national legislation, as well as on the priority areas of Turkmenistan's peace-loving foreign policy. Particular attention was paid to the significant role of our country's creative initiatives in strengthening the foundations of peace, stability, and prosperity in the world.
The Bahraini Ambassador assured that he would make every effort to further strengthen friendly Turkmen-Bahraini relations based on trust and mutual respect.
