Turkmenistan and Russia held consultations between the foreign ministries on international information security

On September 16, Turkmen-Russian consultations on international information security (IIS) took place in Moscow.
The meeting was organized as part of the practical implementation of the Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for 2025–2026, signed in June of this year.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral and regional cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia in the area of IIS. The importance of coordinating the countries' approaches at relevant global and regional forums was emphasized. Special attention was paid to the issue of artificial intelligence.
