On September 17, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey, Ahmet Demirok, in Ashgabat.
The parties discussed priority areas of the Turkmen-Turkish agenda and other pressing issues of mutual interest in cooperation.
The diplomats paid special attention to the two countries' interaction within international organizations. In particular, the parties noted the importance of working together within UNESCO to maintain and promote intangible cultural heritage.
