President of Turkmenistan Held a Meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers

On October 3, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital system, during which the results of the work carried out in the country over the past nine months of the current year were reviewed.

Chairperson of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, reported on the activities of the national Parliament from January to September of this year, aimed at strengthening the legislative and legal framework of the state. During the reporting period, 16 legislative acts and 14 resolutions of the Mejlis were adopted.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Khojamyrat Geldimyradov, reported on the macroeconomic indicators for the past nine months. During the reporting period, GDP growth reached 6.3 percent. He also reported on the progress of construction and reconstruction of various facilities.

Next, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Batyr Amanov, presented a report on the work carried out from January to September this year to increase oil and gas production volumes and to expand their supply routes to global markets. For instance, the State Concern “Türkmennebit” fulfilled its oil production plan by 109.7 percent.

Vice Premier Tangryguly Atahallyev reported on the results of the activities of the supervised sector from January to September 2025, as well as ongoing agricultural work in the provinces. In the agricultural sector, production growth compared to the same period last year was 112.9 percent.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Baimyrat Annamammedov, reported on the results of the construction and industrial sector’s activities from January to September of the current year. During this period, the production and work performance plan was fulfilled at 105 percent.

Next, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov, reported on the outcomes of the Foreign Ministry’s activities over the past nine months. The dynamic development of cooperation with foreign partners was evidenced by visits of foreign delegations to Turkmenistan and Turkmen delegations abroad from January to September. A total of 433 online meetings of various levels were held. In Turkmenistan, 2,063 official negotiations and meetings were organized with representatives of foreign countries and international organizations. Since the beginning of the year, Turkmenistan’s international legal framework has been expanded with 134 new documents.

Then, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Mammetkhan Chakiyev, reported on the activities of subordinate agencies over the past nine months of 2025. During this period, the growth rate of completed work and services provided by the transport and communications sector amounted to 114 percent.

The freight transportation plan by road, rail, air, sea, and river transport was fulfilled at 101.3 percent, and the passenger transportation plan – at 104.9 percent.

Addressing members of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the results of the work carried out in the country over the past nine months of the current year demonstrate the successful implementation of adopted programs.
