Turkmenistan's Cultural Diplomacy Strategy will become an important tool for bringing nations together

At a digital government meeting on October 8, Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers Bahar Seyidova presented the draft Strategy for the Development of the Country's Cultural Diplomacy for 2026–2052. The 27-year document emphasizes that cultural diplomacy is becoming an important element of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, complementing political and economic aspects.

The Strategy views national cultural heritage and traditions as a powerful tool for bringing nations together and strengthening friendship between them. The Strategy's primary objective is to utilize cultural heritage as an important component of soft power. It aims to promote international recognition of unique traditions, popularize national values ​​and ideals, establish long-term interstate relations, and strengthen the role of cultural diplomacy in the international community.

During the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution approving this strategy and gave the Deputy Prime Minister specific instructions for its implementation.
