International Cooperation in Education Strengthens

In the Era of the Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State, Turkmenistan is consistently implementing large-scale reforms in various areas of society, including healthcare, education, and science. This was further evidenced by a large-scale forum organized at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

As part of events marking Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers’ Day, an international exhibition and scientific conference entitled “Healthcare, Education, and Sports in the Era of the Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State” was held. The forum became a significant platform for discussing prospects for developing cooperation, exchanging experiences, and implementing modern approaches in various sectors.

A key element of the event’s program was the signing of a number of bilateral documents between higher education institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign partners. Memoranda of understanding and cooperation with a number of reputable international educational centers were signed in a solemn ceremony. One of the key documents was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the International University for the Humanities and Development (Turkmenistan) and the University of Westminster (United Kingdom). This agreement aims to develop cooperation in education, science, and academic mobility, as well as to implement joint projects that meet modern international standards for personnel training.

The memorandum covers a wide range of areas of cooperation, from organizing joint educational programs and research to holding conferences, seminars, and student and faculty exchanges. Particular attention will be paid to training specialists in international relations, economics, the humanities, and digital technologies.

The International University for the Humanities and Development is actively developing partnerships with leading international educational institutions. Collaboration with the University of Westminster, one of the UK’s prestigious universities, opens up new opportunities for students and faculty on both sides and serves to strengthen bilateral ties in education.

The signing of these agreements during the international forum in Ashgabat was an important contribution to expanding Turkmenistan’s partnerships with other countries. These initiatives contribute to strengthening the international authority of the national education system and creating conditions for training a competitive new generation of personnel.
