President of Turkmenistan received the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation

On October 13, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin.
Using the opportunity, Khusnullin conveyed warm greetings from Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to the head of state and Hero Arkadag.
Warmly welcoming the Deputy Prime Minister, President Berdimuhamedov returned the greetings and best wishes to the Russian leadership.
Wishing the Deputy Prime Minister fruitful talks with his Turkmen colleagues and a successful meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation, Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the results of the upcoming meetings would give new impetus to advancing mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.
The head of state called trade and economic cooperation with the Russian Federation an important area of collaboration. For many years, the Russian Federation has been one of Turkmenistan's leading trading partners.
Cultural and humanitarian cooperation is also highly valued, with contacts in science, education, culture, and healthcare occupying a special place.
At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed both countries' commitment to consistently strengthening the traditionally friendly interstate dialogue.
