National Leader of the Turkmen People met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Korean company "Daewoo"

On October 14, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council), Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met in Ashgabat with Jeong Won-ju, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Korean company "Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd".
The guest noted that Turkmenistan's chemical industry is a tangible example of innovative development and confirmed his company's readiness to contribute to this process.
Emphasizing that Turkmenistan is consistently implementing economic development programs and industrial reforms, with particular emphasis on environmentally oriented "green" projects, the National Leader of the Turkmen People announced that the possibility of producing "green" methanol from cotton stalks is currently being explored.
Hero-Arkadag noted the opportunities for developing new areas of bilateral cooperation, given the favorable business environment created in Turkmenistan. In this regard, emphasis was placed on the constructive cooperation between the State Concern "Türkmenhimiýa" and "Daewoo".
Expressing his sincere gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the favorable conditions created in Turkmenistan for constructive work, the businessman assured that his company will continue to responsibly fulfill its contractual obligations.
