THE TEXTBOOK "ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT OFAGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION" FOR HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

The transition of our country to a market economy demands an increase in production efficiency at the enterprises of agro-industrial complexes, based on the implementation of effective forms of scientific-technical development, farm management, and production organization and management.

In the measures being implemented for the development of the agro-industrial complex, production organization holds a fundamental position. The production of the current period is characterized by the evolution of ideas and the recent adoption of high-quality concepts, compositions, and theories of production that are well-adapted to market conditions. You can observe this by reviewing the recently published textbook "Organization and Management of Agricultural Production" for higher educational institutions (authors: Sh. Permanowa, S. Garayeva — Turkmen State Publishing Service, 2025). The textbook consists of an introduction, 32 chapters in total, and a bibliography.

The textbook provides sufficient information on the theoretical foundations of agricultural organization, production specialization, planning, organizing internal economic accounting, auxiliary and service units in production, preparing agricultural machinery for production, and organizing leasehold relations. As a result of the growth of market relations, valuable concepts regarding the work structure within the agro-industrial complex, the utilization levels of material-technical labor resources, the livestock and crop farming sectors, and fodder production are explained.

In agricultural production, the regularities of organization and management, as well as various methods and guidelines for managing a farm under any form of ownership, are applied. This textbook allows one to acquire the specific information necessary for this.
