President of Turkmenistan attended the groundbreaking ceremony for a new complex at a chemical plant in Turkmenabat

On October 15, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the groundbreaking ceremony for a mineral fertilizer production complex at the S.A. Niyazov Chemical Plant in Turkmenabat.
The project for the new mineral fertilizer production complex at the S.A. Niyazov Chemical Plant of the Türkmenhimiýa State Concern is being implemented by the Korean company Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. The new complex will produce 350,000 tons of superphosphate and 100,000 tons of ammonium sulfate per year. The commissioning of the complex will significantly increase the capacity of the country's chemical industry.
Under the wise leadership of the head of state, Turkmenistan's chemical industry is rapidly developing and becoming an important part of the national economic diversification strategy. The country's vast natural resources allow the industry to supply itself with raw materials. Turkmenistan, which not only exports raw materials but also places particular emphasis on their advanced processing, is developing a modern, high-tech, and competitive chemical industry.
