Turkmen literature is distinguished by its richness and poetic quality. Our writers and poets, who possess a treasure trove of words, have made significant contributions to the refinement of our literature with their remarkable works. Honoring the memory of such masters is our sacred duty.
Recently, a literary and creative event titled "The People's Beloved Poet" was held at the library of the 13th Secondary School named after D.Ovliyagulyyev in Magtymguly etrap of the Balkan velayat, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of our Permanent Neutrality and the 96th anniversary of the birth of the unforgettable poet Kerim Gurbannepesov. During the event, talented students from this school expressively recited several of the poet's works from memory. Teachers shared with them the story of the poet's life, his creative work, and the ideological and artistic content of his poems. Naturally, the students, in turn, successfully provided correct answers to the questions posed about the poet's life and work.
We express our profound gratitude to the leaders who provide unwavering support to Turkmen literature – the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, our Hero Arkadag, and the respected President, Arkadagly Hero-Serdar, for creating these wonderful conditions.
