The National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, expressed gratitude to the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, for his support in the implementation of the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India (TAPI) transnational gas pipeline.
On October 20, during a visit to neighboring Afghanistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Hero Arkadag of Turkmenistan, inspected the construction of the Serhetabat–Herat section, known as "Arkadagyň ak ýoly," which is part of the TAPI project.
"The United States of America was among the first to support the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India gas pipeline project." "Over the years of independence, relations between Turkmenistan and the United States of America have developed at a high level," stated Hero Arkadag, speaking at a ceremony marking the start of construction of the next stage of the Serhetabat-Herat gas pipeline.
The National Leader of the Turkmen People emphasized the contribution of the American company Bownstein, which is serving as a consultant for the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project and providing valuable recommendations.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan expressed sincere gratitude to US President Donald Trump for his support of significant international events held in Turkmenistan, for his congratulatory message, and for his support of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project.
