The 2nd international online olympiad in economics and philosophy was held at the international university for the humanities and development

Under the wise leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero Arkadag, and the Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the education system of our sovereign state is reaching new heights of development. The educational initiatives of our national programs are being implemented at a rapid pace. This is clearly demonstrated by the work being carried out at the country’s higher education institutions, including the International University for the Humanities and Development.
Guided by the words of our esteemed President: “Education is the foundation of all our progress, happiness, and prosperity, the bright path of our great past and future,” the 2nd International Economics Olympiad and the 2nd International Philosophy Olympiad kicked off online on October 20, 2025, at the International University for the Humanities and Development. The Olympiad is currently actively continuing online. The International Philosophy Olympiad and the International Economics Olympiad are held to develop students’ natural talents and abilities, strengthen friendship and brotherhood, foster broad-minded leadership, encourage youth participation in science and creativity, and create favorable conditions for choosing professions related to intellectual development. The official working languages of the International Olympiad are Turkmen, Russian, and English. It was held in the form of an individual competition in the first (one) stage in categories A and B. Students studying philosophy, history, and other social sciences in category A, as well as students studying any other subject in category B, participated in the International Philosophy Olympiad. Similarly, students studying economics and management, statistics in category A, as well as students studying any subject in category B, participated in the International Economics Olympiad. Registration of students wishing to participate in the Olympiad and their team leaders took place on the website https://iuhd.edu.tm/competitions.
Obviously, students from higher education institutions in Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Cuba, Turkey, Cyprus, Cambodia, Russia, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, the United States, Morocco, Poland, Romania, and Indonesia have expressed their desire to participate in the International Olympiad and registered at https://iuhd.edu.tm/competitions for the International Olympiad in Philosophy and International Economics. The Olympiad will run until October 24.
The regular holding of such international intellectual competitions in our country, both online and offline, demonstrates that educational initiatives in our beloved country are reaching new heights of development.
