Turkmenistan to host Iran export potential exhibition

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyev reported on practical steps being taken to develop trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran at a government meeting on October 23.

As reported, multidisciplinary exhibitions play a special role in expanding the partnership in this area between the two friendly countries. Therefore, preparations are currently underway for a specialized exhibition on export potential, with the participation of institutions and enterprises from the Gulistan province of Iran. A corresponding proposal was submitted to the head of state for his consideration.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that our country is consistently developing trade and economic relations with neighboring states, one of which is Iran. In this context, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure due preparations for a high-level exhibition on the export potential of Iran's Gulistan Province in the city of Balkanabat, Balkan Region.
