Talks held with AC Language School on prospects for cooperation

On October 28, 2025, as part of a working visit to the United States, Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Azat Atayev held talks with representatives of AC Language School. On the company side, the meeting was attended by Angeles Chavez (government and operational affairs lead) and subject specialists. The meeting was facilitated by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United States. During the working meeting, the parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in practice-oriented cooperation and discussed opportunities to launch pilot programs.

The discussions focused on the practical launch of a time- and scope-limited pilot at applied sites within secondary vocational and higher education. The intention is to begin where the link to production practice is strongest, with priority given to tourism, technology and engineering, energy, and the agro sector. The pilot is intended to demonstrate real learning dynamics and provide a basis for subsequent managerial decisions.

A separate strand of the conversation addressed strengthening teacher capacity. A full train-the-trainer cycle was considered, with methodological support, ready-to-use materials, and final certification to ensure reproducibility and subsequent scaling of successful practices.

Particular attention was paid to localization and accessibility. This included language support, adaptation of content to sector-specific contexts, reliable operation under limited connectivity, and a user-friendly interface for learners with varying levels of digital skills.

The parties discussed aligning proposed modules with qualification frameworks and educational standards: mapping to expected learning outcomes and competencies recognized by employers, as well as transparent certification mechanisms that ensure recognition of achievements.

Data and analytics were highlighted as a distinct point. Regular learning progress reports were envisaged, along with compatibility of data exports with management analytics and adherence to data protection and data sovereignty requirements at all stages of implementation.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed that AC Language School would prepare a brief concept note for the pilot program.
