Turkmenistan participated in the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand

The 12th Interregional Meeting of National Commissions for UNESCO was held on October 29 as part of the 43rd Conference. Turkmenistan was represented by Chinar Rustamova, Executive Secretary of the National Commission for UNESCO.

The event consisted of four thematic sessions dedicated to empowering youth in promoting peace, human rights, and education for sustainable development, as well as connecting cultures and communities in the digital age.

During the third session, Chinar Rustamova, a representative of Turkmenistan, delivered a presentation. She emphasized the priority areas of the Turkmen Commission's work and the importance of international cooperation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

It was particularly noted that Turkmenistan's active participation in UNESCO plays a key role in strengthening mutual understanding among peoples and advancing shared goals in science, education, and culture.
