A round table dedicated to Turkmenistan’s neutrality held in Islamabad

On October 28, The Gulf Observer news agency and the Gulf Observer Research Forum think tank, in cooperation with the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan, organized a round table dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality.

The event was attended by UN Resident Coordinator in Pakistan Mohamed Yahya, prominent Pakistani journalists and experts, as well as representatives of several Pakistani think tanks and news agencies. The participants highly praised the foreign policy of neutral Turkmenistan, noting that it serves as an example of a constructive approach to strengthening peace, trust, and mutual understanding among nations both in the region and around the world.

Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atajan Movlamov spoke about the path Turkmenistan has taken over the past 30 years of neutrality and the events being held in the country within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust.
