Teachers from a higher education institution in Tatarstan recently shared their expertise with Turkmen colleagues during a ten-day training course. The intensive course for Turkmen educators was held at the Aman Kekilov Pedagogical School. Specialists from the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (NGPU, Russian Federation), located in the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted the training. Participants included teachers from the National Institute of Education, various teacher training schools, educational institutions in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, as well as leading higher education institutions across Turkmenistan. Among them were professors from the Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, including Dayanch Nazarov, Perhat Charyev, Gulnaza Matkarimova, Mahym Yazdurdyeva, and Charyyar Gurbanmammedov. Educational and methodological lessons covered critical areas such as inclusive education for children with developmental disabilities, quality assessment in modern schools, psychology and pedagogy in higher education, student research and project work, and the development and assessment of elementary school students' understanding of natural sciences. To support modern teaching, digital training modules have been developed for all disciplines, equipping teachers with contemporary tools. This successful exchange of experience with Russian colleagues marks its third consecutive year in Turkmenistan, with curricula continually updated to align with modern pedagogical requirements.
