Turkmenistan expressed its readiness to provide humanitarian aid to Afghanistan

On November 4, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Akhmet Gurbanov met with Chargé d'Affaires of Afghanistan Fazal Muhammad Sabir in Ashgabat.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister expressed sympathy and support to the Afghan diplomat in connection with the devastating earthquake in northern Afghanistan, which resulted in casualties and injuries.

Gurbanov noted that Turkmenistan received this news with deep sorrow and announced the country's readiness to provide humanitarian aid to the people of fraternal Afghanistan in the near future.

As is well known, Turkmenistan continues with dignity the Turkmen people's age-old traditions of providing support in difficult times as a foundation for strengthening friendly relations and good-neighborliness between states.
