Turkmenistan’s Charity Fund Sent Humanitarian Aid to the Afghan People

Following the directive of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a ceremony was held on November 6 for the dispatch of medicines and medical supplies, as well as textile and food products, to Afghanistan. Representatives of public organizations in Turkmenistan, the Chargé d’Affaires of Afghanistan in Turkmenistan, honorary elders, and officials from various ministries and agencies took part in the humanitarian initiative.

Providing such assistance during the recovery from the destruction caused by a natural disaster reflects the affirmation of high humanitarian principles. Today, independent and neutral Turkmenistan, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, successfully develops relations of good-neighborliness, positive neutrality, and productive international cooperation, advancing international ties based on principles of mutual respect and trust.

The prompt adoption of urgent measures to support those affected demonstrates Turkmenistan’s commitment to strengthening universal peace and stability and upholding humanitarian ideals.
