Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan takes part in a mass tree-planting event in Arkadag

On November 8, the autumn season of the nationwide tree-planting campaign began in the city of Arkadag. The ceremony, attended by Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, was accompanied by inspiring song and musical performances.

A special highlight of the celebration was a literary and musical composition performed by artists and riders of the Galkynyş National Equestrian Games Group.

During his conversation with the performers, Hero-Arkadag emphasized the importance of making efforts aimed at enriching national art and promoting the values created by the people—such as the Akhal-Teke horses, Alabay dogs, Turkmen carpets, and the country’s magnificent nature—on the global stage.

Then, the National Leader of the Turkmen people arrived at the site marking the beginning of the autumn season of the nationwide greening campaign in the city of Arkadag. It should be noted that thorough preparations had been made for this event, which holds great significance for the life of the nation and its people.

A young boy, in poetic form, appealed to Hero-Arkadag to give the official start to the nationwide tree-planting campaign.

Thus, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, planted the first sapling, giving the start to the nationwide greening event in the city of Arkadag.

Inspired by this, the participants enthusiastically joined the mass tree-planting effort. This became yet another manifestation of the large-scale noble initiatives taking place across the country. The active participation of both young people and the older generation in the greening campaign serves as clear evidence that the people highly value and support good deeds.

At the event, Hero-Arkadag also spoke with Oguljahann Atabaeva, Vice President of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, and gave instructions to continue providing regular support to children in need. Hero-Arkadag also expressed joy for the children who take part in state-level events, restore their health, and enjoy the benefits of the current happy era.
