The capital of Turkmenistan will host the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference “Türkmentel – 2025” and the International Forum “International Transport Corridors: Connectivity and Development 2025” from November 12 to 14.
For the first time, two international events will be united on a single exhibition and dialogue platform, aiming to modernize the national telecommunications institute and promote an innovative model for the country’s development within the framework of state programs and projects.
Experts note that this step will provide an opportunity for a deeper understanding of both domestic and global achievements in the fields of high technology and transport solutions, as well as for the exchange of experience.
The upcoming forum will bring together heads and representatives of international organizations, as well as more than 200 companies — manufacturers and developers of software and IT services, along with logistics operators, representatives, and experts from the USA, Australia, Azerbaijan, the United Kingdom, the UAE, Iran, Finland, France, Kazakhstan, Germany, China, the Republic of Korea, Afghanistan, the Russian Federation, and Turkey.
Over the course of three eventful days, participants will explore various thematic areas — from information technologies to transport development prospects for the coming years.
In the context of information technologies, special attention will be given to the Center for Digital and Innovative Technologies of the “smart” city of Arkadag, established in Turkmenistan in just a few years. Built according to the smart city concept, Arkadag embodies the country’s great economic potential and the forward-looking vision of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The opening of Arkadag, the region’s first smart city, stands as further evidence of the country’s success in this field. The city has been awarded prestigious international certificates in urban planning and digital solutions.
According to the organizers of the upcoming forums, Turkmenistan remains open to cooperation aimed at implementing mutually beneficial initiatives for the improvement of national telecommunications and transport infrastructure.
It is worth noting that the forum program will include:
The award ceremony for the winners of the “Digital Solution – 2025” competition will take place as part of the Türkmentel – 2025 conference.
Discussions will also focus on the prospects for international transport corridors, the creation of new logistics solutions, and increasing the efficiency of transport systems.
