Last week, 11 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
Business representatives from Turkey and Afghanistan used foreign currency to purchase urea (Türkmenhimiýa State Concern) and aviation kerosene produced at the processing facilities of the Türkmennebit State Concern.
In addition, bedding sets, cotton yarn, cotton fiber, light industry waste, and licorice roots and rhizomes were sold for foreign currency. The purchasing countries included China, Turkey, Switzerland, and Estonia. The total value of the transactions exceeded $5.5 million.
Domestic businesses purchased polypropylene and base oil (Türkmennebit Group), as well as cotton fiber, for a total of over 58,625,000 manats for the domestic market.
