President of Turkmenistan congratulated the participants of the 18th International Exhibition and Scientific Conference “Türkmentel–2025” and “International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development–2025”

On November 12, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants of the 18th International Exhibition and Scientific Conference “Türkmentel–2025”, as well as on the opening of the International Conference and Exhibition “International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development–2025” (ITTC 202).

“At present, large-scale programs aimed at modernizing the national economy, creating modern transport infrastructure, and further improving the social sphere are being successfully implemented in our country.

As is known, Turkmenistan, which occupies a favorable geoeconomic position, attaches great importance to utilizing its transport and transit potential.

In this regard, large-scale work is being carried out to create new transport and transit infrastructure along the East–West and North–South routes.

This opens up vast opportunities for expanding mutually beneficial regional and international trade and economic relations across the Eurasian space.

We are achieving great success in the comprehensive transformation of our country, relying on global innovative technologies.

By improving the structure, material, technical, and legal framework of the digital technology sector in accordance with the requirements of the time, we are carrying out fundamental scientific and technical research and implementing major projects,” emphasized the Head of State.

“Turkmenistan’s position in the international arena is steadily strengthening.

The successful hosting of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in the National Tourist Zone ‘Avaza,’ as well as the commissioning of the International Airport in Balkanabat, became some of the most important events of the International Year of Peace and Trust.

Currently, along the route known as ‘Arkadagyň ak ýoly’ (‘The White Road of Arkadag’), work is underway on the construction of the Serhetabat–Herat fiber-optic communication line, the Turgundi–Sanabar section — the first phase of the Turgundi–Herat railway — and a warehouse complex at the ‘dry port’ of the Turgundi railway station.

The 18th International Exhibition and Scientific Conference on Telecommunications, Telemetry, Information Technology and Broadcasting Equipment ‘Türkmentel–2025’ is of great significance for the modernization of the telecommunications system, which is designed to ensure the innovative development of the country and the implementation of national programs and global projects,” the President noted.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished all participants good health, well-being, happiness, and great success in their work.
