Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Turkmenistan, Narine Sahakyan, spoke at the joint International Forum on Digital Technologies and Transport Corridors held in Ashgabat. She emphasized that for Turkmenistan, the interconnection between digital networks and physical transport corridors is becoming a new driver of economic growth and resilience.
UNDP reaffirmed its partnership with the Government of Turkmenistan in implementing the country’s digital vision, focusing on three key priorities: developing Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), supporting digital ecosystems (startups and entrepreneurship), and advancing inclusive digital transformation to ensure that no one is left behind.
Sahakyan highlighted that UNDP is committed to supporting Turkmenistan in integrating digital solutions to enhance the efficiency and safety of its transport networks.
