A guidebook titled “The World of Numbers”, prepared under the authorship of M.Rahmedov, a lecturer at the Department of “Labor and Technology Fundamentals and Methods of Their Teaching” of Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute, together with O.Seyitkulyyeva and O.Kulyyev, has been published.
The guidebook is intended for students of higher educational establishments as well as for secondary school students. The guidebook explains the origin of the first numbers and numerical symbols, the development and improvement of counting systems, and the algorithm for performing calculations. This guidebook can be used by the teachers of mathematics and informatics, researchers, and anyone interested in mathematics and its history.
