A new textbook titled “Physical Fundamentals of Electronic Engineering” was published

The textbook titled "Physical Fundamentals of Electronic Engineering" by the teachers of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute,G. Hojamammedov and S. Nurgeldiev, has been published for higher educational institutions.  The textbook was edited by the “Ylym” Publishing house of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.

This textbook observes physical processes that define the structure and operation of semiconductors, electron vacuum devices, gas discharge devices, optoelectronic devices, and quantum components. In this textbook are presented the fundamental characteristics and parameters of elements forming the basis of information and power electronics, such as diodes, transistors, thyristors, and other devices. Special attention is given to physical processes that determine the characteristics and parameters of diodes, transistors, thyristors, electron lamps, electron-beam tubes, and photo-electronic quantum devices.

In the specialized sections of the textbook is discussed the study of the physical fundamentals of electronics that enables a better understanding of the schematic and technical features of the structures of information and power electronics.

The textbook is purposed for students of higher educational institutions specializing in information and measurement technology, microelectronics, semiconductor devices, and industrial electronics.
