The UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan stressed that all conditions are in place for holding a high-level international conference in Avaza this December.
It was also noted during the meeting that Turkmenistan was the first country in the region to propose the creation of the Central Asian Women’s Dialogue. This initiative aims to strengthen the role of women in promoting sustainable development, peace, and security in the region.
Dmitry Shlapachenko emphasized that the UN highly values and supports Turkmenistan’s efforts to ensure gender equality, including women’s access to quality healthcare and education.
